Participating schools can expect to save an average of $13,000 in annual energy costs by engaging the entire school in energy efficiency practices. And all schools who complete the year-long program receive an award of a $10,000 to $25,000 Learning Environment Grant!

The State of Tennessee requires periodic renewal of the state’s recognition of an Agricultural tax-exempt status. 2023 is a renewal year. The current Agricultural Sales and Use Tax Certificate of Exemption UCEMC has on file will expire 12/31/23.

Here in the Upper Cumberland, the second Saturday in September is something extraordinary for UCEMC members who never fail to attend the annual meeting. This year will be at a NEW VENUE!
We see friends and neighbors we sometimes haven’t seen since last year. We cheer when we win a door prize, and we look forward to tasting the delicious fish or chicken in the afternoon. We come early to hear about what’s new at our electric co-op and stay until the afternoon for the fellowship and the fun.
