Gainesboro Repairs Scheduled for Saturday

Planned Outage

A lightning strike has damaged some vital electrical equipment in the Gainesboro District, requiring UCEMC to shut off power to 939 meters as repairs are made. The planned outage will begin at 6:00 a.m. and last approximately two hours. 

The areas affected by this planned outage include:

  • Whitleyville
  • Hensley Creek Road
  • Riley Creek Road
  • Big Bottom Road
  • Pine Lick Creek Road
  • Keeling Branch Hwy.
  • Hunting Creek Road

  • Hudson Creek Highway
  • Gaineshore
  • Reeves Drive
  • Baugh Hollow Lane
  • North Murray Street
  • Waste Water Building
  • Main Water Building
  • N. Grundy Quarles Highway
