ENTER YOUR ESSAY TO WIN A $1,000 SCHOLARSHIP AND A TRIP TO WASHINGTON D.C.!
If you’re a high school junior and your parents are members of the Upper Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation, you are eligible to enter our essay contest in November! Five students who write the winning essays will represent the cooperative on an all-expense paid trip to our nation’s capital to see government in action and will receive a $1,000 scholarship upon graduation. Students spend an exciting week visiting museums, monuments and other landmarks.

YOUTH LEADERSHIP SUMMIT
In March, UCEMC sponsors this educational, three-day, all-expense paid trip to our state capital for 11th graders in our service area. Each year, a boy and girl are chosen to represent their high school and UCEMC, joining other juniors from across the state to visit the Capital, Legislative Plaza, see the General Assembly at work, and learn more about electric cooperatives.
