School Programs |
UCEMC takes each year an electrical safety program to all of the 4th grade classes in our service area. This is focused mainly on outdoor electrical safety around power lines and includes the use of a video, booklets, and a live demo of do's and don’ts.

Youth Tour Program |
UCEMC sponsors an essay contest for the 11th grade in each of the high schools in our service area. To be eligible, students must be dependents of members of the cooperative. Essays are judged in November of each year and a winner is chosen to represent the cooperative on an all expense paid trip to Washington, DC in June of the following year. The annual tour is an event that gives students the opportunity to see government in action. The group that goes to Washington, DC is made up of 150 students and cooperative employees from all across the state. A scholarship of $500.00 is also awarded to each winner upon graduating.

Youth Leadership Summit |
UCEMC sponsors this educational and entertaining trip to Nashville for juniors in our service area. Each year a boy & girl are picked to represent their high school and UCEMC. These students along with other juniors across the state willl be visiting the Capital, Legislative Plaza, seeing the General Assembly at work, and learning more about their electric cooperative. The students picked will have a three day all expense paid trip to Nashville in March.
